Gülden Duykan Kankotan, currently serving as the marketing director for Haleon in Turkey, has been appointed as the director of strategy and innovation for the Middle East and Africa Region at Haleon, effective March 1st.
In her new role, Kankotan will guide the growth strategy across a wide-ranging geography encompassing more than 45 countries and drive innovation within the Oral Health and OTC categories.
With 20 years of experience in leading FMCG and pharmaceutical companies, Kankotan graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Mathematics. Kankotan began her career as a product manager at L’Oréal Turkey, later serving as the personal care category manager at Unilever and then as the marketing director at Johnson & Johnson Turkey.
Appointed as the marketing director of consumer health at GSK Turkey in 2020, Kankotan continued this role under the Haleon umbrella following the company’s transition to Haleon on July 18, 2022.
