Organized by United Nations Women Europe and Central Asia Regional Office, the Women’s Entrepreneurship event was held in Istanbul with the support of Yıldız Holding.
At the meeting that brought Women Entrepreneurs and investors together, the opening speeches were made by United Nations Women Europe and Central Asia Regional Director Alia El-Yassir, Yıldız Holding Chairman Ali Ülker, Mary Kay Global Operations Director Deborah Gibbins, and PwC Turkey Consulting Services Leader Serkan Tarmur.
In his speech, Yıldız Holding Chairman Ali Ülker said, “Through Yildiz Ventures, we supported women-led startups with direct investments or early-stage technology-focused venture capital funds. Today, we have invested 4.3 million dollars directly or indirectly in 53 startups.”
