The Taksim – Tunnel Nostalgic Tram, which dates back to 1914 on Istiklal Avenue, is getting ready to be moved into the future with electric vehicles. Instead of the nostalgic tram, one of the symbols of Taksim and Istiklal Avenue, an electric-powered battery tram is coming.
The new generation, environmentally friendly, economical, and high-capacity trams will preserve the historical texture with their interior and exterior design. Trams with the same design as the current vehicle will start operating after test drives.
