With a global presence spanning over a century and nearly 40 years in Turkey, Danone has not only maintained its global identity but has also embraced a local dimension. Most recently, Danone has invested over 450 million Turkish Liras in its Lüleburgaz Production Facility to commence local production of medical nutrition products used in malnutrition therapy. With this latest investment, the Danone Turkey Lüleburgaz Production Facility has become Danone’s first hybrid factory producing both dairy products and medical nutrition products.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Danone Medical Nutrition Products Facility, Cem Kucukcan, General Manager of Danone Turkey, stated, “I take great pride and joy in Danone’s confidence and belief in Turkey, demonstrated by increasing its investments. As Danone Turkey, we bring our portfolio of over 20 brands and innovative products to consumers of all ages, thanks to our six production facilities, R&D center, and over 2000 Danone employees working across Turkey.”
