Tekfen Philharmonic honors its founder Ali Nihat Gökyiğit with a concert.

Established by Ali Nihat Gökyiğit in 1992 with a mission to serve world peace and brotherhood among different nations through music, Tekfen Philharmonic dedicates its December concert to its founder, who passed away earlier this year.

In a concert that will resemble a festival with its diversity, the orchestra will perform a technically challenging violin concerto, which the composer described as “I wrote it more for Caruso than for Paganini.”

The rich melodies and lyrical structure of the concerto will invite the audience to a vocal interpretation. The soloist for the piece will be Liya Petrova, a Bulgarian violinist with a bright career, known for her clear tone and lyrical expression, and the prestigious winner of the Carl Nielsen International Competition.
