TAV Airports announced its financial and operational results

TAV Airports announced its financial and operational results for the year 2023. TAV served 96 million passengers, marking a 22% increase compared to the previous year.

TAV Airports increased its revenue by 22% to 1.3 billion euros in 2023. Expecting to reach between 100-110 million passengers this year, TAV has also revised its expectations for 2025 upwards.

Serkan Kaptan, TAV Airports CEO, stated, “By serving 96 million passengers in 2023, we closed the year 22% above 2022 and 7% above 2019. Since the fourth quarter of 2023, traffic has grown due to a relatively warmer winter season. When we dissect the growth components, we observe that the international passenger, which is relatively stronger, closed the year 13% above 2019. Most of our markets, except for Russia and Ukraine, also grew well above this average. Compared to 2019, our main market, Germany, saw a growth of 24%, the UK 58%, Poland 78%, and the UAE 65%. The number of passengers coming to Turkey from our international airports also exceeded 75% compared to 2019.”
