Procter & Gamble (P&G), known as the “Leadership School” and recognized for its gender equality approach, has made new appointments, with approximately half of its managers worldwide being women.
P&G Turkey, with headquarters in eight different countries, including Turkey, has cultivated women leaders in various regions around the world, especially in Europe. It continues to expand its presence with appointments of women executives in areas traditionally associated with men, such as technology and digitalization.
Merve Çakır Aksoy, who has been with P&G for about 17 years and has served as the Director of Information Technologies and Global Business Solutions for P&G Turkey, the Caucasus, and Central Asia for the past six years, will continue her career as Senior Director of P&G Europe Digital Workplace, Facilities, and Real Estate Services, Global Business Services. Aksoy holds a bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
Ekin Özen, who has been with P&G for approximately ten years and has served as the Director of Marketing Technologies for P&G Europe for the last three years, will continue her career as the Director of Information Technologies and Global Business Solutions for P&G Turkey, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, taking over from Merve Çakır Aksoy. Özen holds an MSc in Strategy & Innovation from University of Oxford and a bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Sabanci University.
