Kerim Nişel, currently serving as the Acting General Manager and CFO of IKEA Turkey, has been appointed to the position of Country Manager. Nişel takes over his new role from Fuat Atalay.
Fuat Atalay will continue to play a role in the company’s top management as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of IKEA Turkey, alongside his various responsibilities within the Group companies.
Kerim Nişel, a graduate of Saint Joseph French High School and California State University Fresno with a degree in finance, joined IKEA Turkey as Country Business Controller in 2004. After undertaking various roles such as Country Internal Audit Manager, Finance Group Manager, and Finance Director, Nişel was appointed as the Acting General Manager and CFO of IKEA Turkey in 2017.
He has been serving as a Board Member of IKEA Türkiye and MAYA Holding Group affiliates for over 10 years. In his new role, Kerim Nişel will lead IKEA Türkiye in its growth, omnichannel retailing, and next-generation customer experience strategies. Nişel is also a Board Member of the Chain Stores Association.
