Mehmet Şermet has been appointed as the CEO of MAN Türkiye which is MAN’s largest bus manufacturing facility.
A graduate of Trakya University Faculty of Engineering, Şermet completed his Executive MBA at Bilkent University. Şermet began his career at MAN Türkiye as an engineer 20 years ago and will continue his career today as the CEO. With his new role, Şermet will also be responsible for MAN Truck & Bus SE’s bus factories in Poland and South Africa.
Mehmet Şermet takes over his new position from the experienced figure Münür Yavuz. Yavuz stated that he is proud to pass on his seat to Mehmet Şermet, whom he has worked with successfully and supported for many years. Thanking Yavuz for his services at MAN Türkiye, Şermet stated that he has taken on a significant responsibility with his new role and will strive to carry the torch even further.
Barbaros Oktay, Head of Business Unit Bus MAN Truck & Bus SE, expressed gratitude to Münür Yavuz for his valuable contributions to many successes at MAN Türkiye. He also wished success to Mehmet Şermet, who has taken over the position.
