Throughout her successful career filled with achievements, Serçin Giray has played pivotal roles in various countries and positions at Bayer.
She began her professional journey in 1999 in the Accounting and Finance department at Bayer Türkiye. In 2008, Giray took on the role of Türkiye Reporting Group Manager and successfully fulfilled this position for a year. Subsequently, she was appointed to the Corporate Finance department at the company’s headquarters in Germany, where she was responsible for Financial Country Coordination in the European region.
Returning to Türkiye in 2013, Giray continued her work as Accounting Manager. Between 2017 and 2020, she assumed the role of CFO for the Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova country group. In 2020, she was appointed as CEO and continued to lead the same country group as both CEO and CFO.
In 2022, Giray took on the role of Group Finance Organizational Development and Transformation Leader at Bayer’s Germany headquarters. In this capacity, she played a key role in managing the CFO and Group Finance community, as well as implementing transformation programs. Her contributions continued until November 2023.
As of November 2023, Serçin Giray has taken on the role of CEO and CFO at Bayer Türkiye, succeeding Ingrun Alsleben in these positions.
