Schneider Electric has appointed Bihter Gönenli from Türkiye as the Director of Commercial Operations for the organization in Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Georgia countries.
In her new role, Gönenli will lead all Schneider Electric commercial activities and organizations necessary for the strategic transformation of energy management and automation, sustainable energy infrastructures, and electrification solutions in Central Asia countries. She will oversee all operations from Baku, Azerbaijan.
With a career spanning 17 years at Schneider Electric in various positions and possessing extensive leadership experience, Gönenli graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. She successfully completed programs in ‘Leadership,’ ‘Strategy and Leadership,’ and ‘Women Leadership’ at educational institutions such as Sabancı University and INSEAD.
Gönenli, who has been particularly involved in social responsibility projects related to the representation of women engineers in the industry, is positioned as one of Schneider Electric’s role model women leaders in the region.
