Abdi Ibrahim Pharmaceuticals has been awarded the Gender Equality certificate (Equal Opportunities Model certification) developed by KAGİDER Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey with technical support from The World Bank, and in partnership with PwC and EY to encourage female employment.
Abdi İbrahim VP of People and Culture & Executive Board Member Deniz Daver, Abdi İbrahim Public Affairs, Sustainability & Communications Director M. Oğuzcan Bülbül, Ph.D. and KAGİDER Board Members Nesecan Cekici and Özlem Demirci Duyarlar attended the certificate award ceremony held at the Abdi İbrahim Headquarters. Abdi İbrahim became the 57th organization to receive the FEM certificate.
Deniz Daver expressed great happiness in receiving this certificate, stating, “The certificate, which signifies the sensitive approaches of companies towards gender equality and women empowerment in employment, is an important indicator reflecting Abdi İbrahim’s inclusivity vision. We see the FEM certificate as a reward for our resolute and continuous efforts in this field.”
Neşecan Çekici stated that the FEM certificate program is an exemplary model for achieving gender equality in the business world in Turkey and raising awareness on this issue. She expressed her satisfaction with the increasing number of organizations receiving the FEM certificate and thanked Abdi İbrahim for their sensitivity in this regard.
Özlem Demirci Duyarlar expressed their belief that egalitarian policies supporting women empowerment in the business world, as in every field, will advance Turkey further. She said, “As the number of organizations receiving the FEM certificate increases, we come closer to our dream of an equal world.”
