At Danish footwear and leather brand ECCO, which is seamlessly integrating design and technology and celebrating its 60th year worldwide this year, two significant leadership changes have taken place.
Deniz N. Erda, who successfully led ECCO’s Turkey and MEA operations since 2012, has been appointed President ECCO Americas effective December 1. Reshma Shetty Peter, ECCO Head of Retail MEA, has been appointed to Erda’s position in ECCO Turkey and the MEA region.
Deniz Erda, who mentioned going to America to take on responsibilities in the region with the opening of ECCO’s first design store in Manhattan during the brand’s 60th anniversary this year, stated, “Upon the offer of our CEO, Panos Mytaros, I accepted the position. Shortly after starting my new role, we opened the first Alpha concept store in New York Manhattan.”
ECCO is also joining forces with French designer Natacha Ramsay-Levi. Joining ECCO’s design team as a creative partner, Ramsay-Levi designs “NRL” capsule collections for the brand in this new role.
