Resul Aytemür’s exhibition “The Chaotic Charm of the Mega City” is being hosted at Yapı Kredi bomontiada from February 2 to February 28, 2024.
Speaking about his recent oil paintings focusing on the lives of urban dwellers, Aytemür stated, “In the exhibition, you will see my recent works selected from my own archive. My paintings are technically oil on large canvases. I produce my paintings with a documentary approach, conveying the city I live in, the neighborhood, and the spirit of the time. In recent years, I prefer to create compositions with many figures in my paintings. The neighborhoods, streets, and people of Beyoğlu are the inspiration for my paintings.”
