Elçim Sirek, who has been serving as the Country Manager of Sovos Turkey for three years, has been appointed as the Sovos Vice President of Sales EMEA.
With over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles in the technology sector, Elçim Sirek, in her new global role, will play a significant role in Sovos’ operations in the region, providing tax technology solutions for businesses of all sizes in more than 70 countries.
Having started working at Sovos Turkey as the country manager in 2021, Elçim Sirek and her team have contributed numerous solutions that facilitate the legal obligations arising from digitizing taxes for companies in Turkey.
Elçim Sirek, who will carry out her new role from Istanbul, will report directly to Alice Katwan, Sovos President of Revenue, who oversees the management of all continents and directly reports to Sovos CEO Kevin Akeroyd.
Elçim Sirek holds a master’s in Industrial Engineering from Galatasaray Üniversitesi and a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Marmara University.
