Bahar Uçanlar, who has been serving as the Marketing Director at Mey|Diageo since January 2021, has been appointed as the General Manager of Mey|Diageo, becoming the company’s first female General Manager.
Taking over the role from Levent Kömür as of April 1, 2024, Uçanlar will continue to leverage her experience and expertise gained from past leadership roles to further elevate Mey|Diageo‘s success.
Recognized among Turkey’s top marketing leaders, Bahar Uçanlar has accumulated 24 years of professional experience, holding various managerial and general management positions at national and international companies such as Bain & Company, PepsiCo, Mondelez International, Turkcell, and Kantar Research.
Before joining Mey|Diageo as Marketing Director in January 2021, Bahar Uçanlar served as the General Manager at Mars Sportif for approximately 3 years.
Uçanlar holds a master’s in Business Administration from University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University.
