A unique journey through Istanbul with paintings: “The Painting of Istanbul”

The Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum, opened by Türkiye İş Bankası as a gift to our country on the 100th anniversary of our Republic, hosts a rich selection from the bank’s Art Collection, which contains around 2,700 works.

Under the umbrella of İş Sanat, which operates in many fields from music to plastic arts, museology to cultural heritage preservation, the museum adds a significant milestone to our country’s cultural and artistic itinerary.

The museum, located on Istiklal Avenue in Beyoğlu, features its first temporary exhibition, “The Painting of Istanbul.” This exhibition brings together paintings with Istanbul themes from the bank’s collection, showcasing perspectives of Istanbul from both the Anatolian and European sides on two separate floors, providing an artistic view of the city.
